I saw these cute quackers at Theisen's in Black River Falls and just knew they would make a perfect addition to our flock! One thought lead to another and then I was posting my first ever "Duckling Days" photoshoot where kids and their parents could spend time with the fluffy yellow ducklings. It was a big hit thanks to beautiful weather at River Prairie Park, my amazing assistant and professional duck wrangler (Em Windsor), and the wonderful families that participated! This family is near in dear to my heart! We have purchased a puppy from them, they've gotten a puppy from us. It's not everyday you meet dairy goat farms and get to watch their kiddos, pups, and family grow year after year. I loved this special on the farm shoot in Tilden Wisconsin with their littles, goats, and pups!
1. Turn Up The Temp New babies will be their sleepiest and calmest with warmer temps! So turn on that fireplace in July, dial up the thermostat, and warm up the swaddling blankets for the calmest new born during their session. It might be a good idea to make sure you and your partner are in comfortable clothes to handle the heat and moving around for photos.
